Job Profile Summary Description
- Jointly lead national route to market
- Ensure distribution model, field force structure and route planning in line with company strategies
(e.g. split between DSD, WS, KA etc. and visit frequency) - Execute and evaluate RTM performance and take corrective actions
Principal Accountabilities
- Achieve distribution & SOM targets
- Develop an annual plan for RTM implementation
- Review route plans and define visits objectives for the team and follow up on achievement
- Follow up on the implementation of commercial strategy per channel (General trade customers, wholesalers, key accounts)
- Closely monitor distribution KPI’s performance vs targets and report any diversion from plan and recommend correction plan
- Develop management reporting tools to track RTM and distribution achievements
- Design & follow up sales force incentive scheme
-Build strong relationship with Key customers:
- Regular visit to Top clients by channel (80% from Volume)
- Identify and understand customers’ needs and design tactical plans to drive IMS
- Implement cycle plan & ad-hoc sales activities on time & within budget
- Implement cycle plan activities & follow up on spending
- Provide on-the-ground support for distributor sales teams
- Manage TPOSM and PPOSM stocking and deployment
- Identify market opportunities & demand shifts while being fully aware of competition activities
- General Accountabilities
- Build capabilities in the field force to grow distribution and define roadmap for entire sales team
- Flexible, proactive and able to provide reports and analysis on ad hoc basis
- Regular performance-reporting
- Required to spend 80% from his working time in the field
