Structured Derivatives Trader

As part of our growing Treasury Strategy, we are looking to hire a Derivative Trader, with GCC experience, for an exciting and rewarding role that will have a big aspect on the banks immediate and future activity. We require an experienced individual, who will be able to work autonomously, but in collaboration with our award winning team, to deliver in a high profile role. Fundamental obligation: - Coordinate with internal units (Treasury Sales / RMs) with regards to client requirements - Develop and execute plain and structured derivative solutions - Advise on / Execute derivative hedges for the Treasury Fixed Income Portfolio. - Adhere to all internal and external regulatory requirements and limits. - Ensure proper monitoring and training of subordinate(s) - Deputize for Desk Head as and when required Main Scope of Duties and Responsibilities - Design and develop new products / trade ideas / structures to meet specific client requirements. - Update Treasury Sales/RMs with new product approvals through regular meetings/presentations - Formulate views on market trends and developments to be communicated both internally and externally. - Ensure providing bespoke solutions to the Bank’s corporate clients hedging needs. - Liaise with Treasury Sales Dealers and Relationship Managers to improve customers’ flows - Ensure proper approvals / documentation / limits in place prior to closing deals. - Provide research and write-up to clients on product and economic developments
