The Lead Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer will oversee/monitor the EPC Contractor Mechanical Static Engineer’ s execution of mechanical engineering aspects of all plant static equipment. This includes overseeing the EPC Contractor’s mechanical design to ensure technical and design integrity of the equipment.
The Lead Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer is to ensure that all EPC Contractor work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards within the boundaries of the Project Basis of Design.
The Lead Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer is also required to ensure that efficient transfer of mechanical design and engineering aspects are maintained and carried forward from earlier project stages to the later project stages.
The Lead Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer’s role covers the FEED phase through to detailed design, construction, commissioning, start-up and eventual handover of the plant to the Owner
