We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and motivated teacher of Arabic, Islam and Bahraini Citizenship to our Senior School students (age 11-18 years). The successful applicant will join a team of four full-time teachers in the delivery of the Ministry of Education Arabic curriculum to native Arabic speakers. Islam is compulsory for all Muslims: to Arabic speakers through the Ministry of Education curriculum and in English to non-Arabic speakers. Additional Arabic courses including Arabic GCSE, A Level and IB Diploma are also offered.
Our minimum candidate requirements:
- BACHELOR’S DEGREE in Arabic; or BACHELOR OF EDUCATION
- a teaching qualification acceptable to the Ministry of Education
Start Date: Tuesday 28 August (staff Induction week). Arrival Date in Bahrain 22 August 2018
