Leasing Manager - AL ARGAN INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE COMPANY

Scope and Purpose
The Leasing Manager is responsible for achieving revenue goals of the property. The ideal candidate for the Leasing Manager position will have a strong sales background as this job’s primary responsibility is income generation
Main Responsibilities
 Sales
 Take all steps necessary to market and expeditiously lease space, as assigned. In consultation with Leasing, Marketing, and Management, timely develop marketing strategies for available spaces and upcoming vacant spaces; ensure buildings and available spaces are properly marketed
 Demonstrate a sense of urgency and initiative to identify opportunities, attract new tenants, and promptly lease vacant space
 Ensure achievement of performance against leasing targets set in line with the Top Management
 Proactively market available space via networking opportunities with brokers and other relevant means
 Follow through
 Supervises and ensures accurate and timely preparation of all leasing paperwork and documents.
 Performs necessary resident retention activity and assists in negotiation of rent increases and lease renewals with residents and the execution of all necessary documents to implement all approved rental increases.
 Reporting
 Conducts weekly sales “leasing fundamentals” meetings, providing clear set leasing and occupancy goals.
 Prepare financial analyses for potential leasing transactions and brokerage commissions.
 Gathers market information weekly and prepares reports identifying competition rental rates, concessions, promotions and property changes, observing development and changes in market area.
 Shop competition to determine sales technique, strategy and merchandising. Reports findings and recommendations to Vice President Leasing.
 Perform and ascertain market intelligence in order to gain information that would lead to maximizing the Returns from the various projects
 Work diligently and collaboratively with various departments and the Legal team to “get the lease done” in a timely fashion
