Internal Auditor - College of the North Atlantic - Qatar

The College of the North Atlantic - Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Internal Auditor in the Internal Audit Department. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager the Internal Auditor must have the skills and expertise necessary to support the Internal Audit Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will execute operational, financial, IT and security compliance related audits of CNA-Q. Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience in finance or a related field, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Internal Auditor. The successful candidate is responsible to conduct financial, operational and IT internal audits of CNA-Q, in alignment with Internal Audit policies, laws and regulations in Qatar.

Candidates will also need to support the Internal Audit Manager in ascertaining CNA-Q auditing needs, anticipating issues, and creating and planning options.Responsibilities include monitoring CNA-Q’s Departments and Schools to ensure current audit and policies and procedures are effectively implemented, and report discrepancies to the Internal Audit Manager. Candidates will be responsible to support the generation of reports to the Board of Trustees, President and Senior Management with an assurance and plan for risk management, controls and governance.

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for liaising with other Departments to collect data to measure and establish KPIs on a regular basis. The Candidate will also develop written materials and deliver training programs to promote awareness and an understanding of compliance issues, applicable laws and regulations.
