  • Prepare all mise em place to outlet standard as assigned by Chef de Partie or Sous Chef of the department

  • Follow the daily food hygiene check points

  • Prepare food recipes according to the standard recipes in the outlet manual, if required

  • Assist with collecting the food requisitions from the kitchen / central kitchen as directed.

  • Breakdown work station at the end of meal periods & store the food away properly in the fridge to HACCAP standard.

  • Adapt to any work station as directed by the CDP or Sous Chef

  • Work in any station of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by the CDP

  • Brief the incoming shift

  • Prepare check & taste the food before the service if required in the absence of a Commi 1

  • Minimize waste of all food items

  • Report if stock is low or item are missing

  • Maintain a good relationship with the rest of team

  • Play an active part of the team by attending training sessions & meetings

  • Uphold company dress code & professional standards at all times

  • Respond positively to changes in the department as and when necessary

  • Provide a courteous & professional service at all times

  • Examine the mise en place done are as per directed quantities, quality and standards of the outlet

  • Suggests methods by which to reduce food cost
