Job Description:
- Produces project deliverables such as reports, contract documents (drawings and specifications), and design calculations.
- Provides oversight of design personnel to develop 3D mechanical system designs as well as 2D and 3D deliverables.
- Design, engineer and analysis of mechanical systems, sub-systems, equipment or mechanical elements.
- Coordinates with CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines
- Ensures statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs
- Ensures that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies
- Provides regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Seniors or MEP Manager
- Ensures QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects
- Carry out complete power distribution, ELV and telecommunication discipline designs to required standards and quality
- Reviews Mechanical Engineering drawings
- Conducts feasibility studies and design verifications for new or modified designs.
- Plan and prepare work and equipment usage schedules
