Lead Structural Design Engineer - CEG International

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering with min. 15 years of working experience, 5 years as Lead Design Engineer.

Responsibilities:
• To lead and control the Structural Section Team / organization and represents the main line of communication with others.
• To ensure that the technical issues and quality of works conforms to the Specifications and within time frame.
• To prepare technical proposals and studies related to his works.
• To conduct coordination meeting together with the presence of other concerned Lead Designers for all mandatory requirements (UPDA, Civil Defense, KAHRAMAA, Q-Tel, Drainage/Sewer, Roads and other Agencies as required) that will make the project attain their compliance with the prevailing codes, regulatory standards and final approval of the client, approval of concerned agencies and issuance of building permit.
• To coordinate with the PM and other concerned Lead Designers to ensure the structural system or approach is workable and in conformity with the architectural conditions of the project.
• To further coordinate with PM and other concerned Lead Designers once the structural assumption is fixed, to validate whether their system will suit their requirements in compliance with the project needs.
• To prepare the required Basis of Design Criteria and Specs List for all sections concerned that is in full compliance with the requirements of the project and the above statutory requirements in obtaining the required agencies approval and permit.
