Plant & Machinery Manager

· Supervise Cost Management of all Plant Machinery, Transport Fleet and Fabrication Shops.

· Propose and advise to Management on procurement of New Construction Machinery / Equipment.

· Overview of all Plant & Machinery Preventive Maintenance Program ensure that break downs are kept to the minimum

· Propose and advise Management on Most Cost Effective Proposals regarding utilization, adding / deleting Plant & Machinery, and Vehicles.

· Emphasize on In-house Repairs for all Plant & Machinery and Vehicles. Also steel Fabrication to projects.

· Receive and Respond to project Managers requests for Plant & Machinery, and Vehicles “as per operation requirement: Advise Project Managers on cost effective ways of utilization.

· Prepare and submit to Management budget proposals as and when required.

· Prepare and submit to Management reports on all aspects of operations to keep them well informed.

· Ensure and follow-up the implementation of “ISO Standards”. Ensure that safety rules are implemented at all times.

· Negotiate with Suppliers / Subcontractors to achieve best possible deals and submit to Management with recommendations and for approvals.

· Ensure that “Confidential Matters” does not leak.
