The Role:
The Supply Chain Officer carries out the procurement activities efficiently and effectively to get best value for money from all procurement's of goods, services and works required for supporting operations and all other activities. You will initiate, manage, and develop relationship and supply channels with local, regional, and global suppliers as well as to coordinate with related departments on their related needs
The Responsibilities:
- Supports in preparation, Consolidation and review of procurement plans.
- To manage Procurement (Import & Export), Warehousing Logistics (Inventory Control) & Clearance (Import & Export)
- Procurement evaluations and reviews.
- Negotiates with suppliers for discounts/better values.
- Should be analytical – weekly/biweekly reporting (very important should be excellent in excel)
- Make recommendations and set strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations manage cost and inventory controls.
- Manage, develop, and analyze data flow on Inventory management system.
