JOB PURPOSE :        
To drive GDA in increasing its network and visibility impact through the effective and timely delivery of multi-cultural Oil & Gas related events, marketing, communications and PR strategies and campaigns (locally and internationally) to build brand awareness, networking, support and knowledge distribution; thereby significantly contributing to the development of new programme partnerships and funding opportunities, to achieve revenue goals, distribution targets and business strategy/objective.

MAIN ACCOUNT-ABILITIES :
 Strategy:
Lead in planning, development and implementation of GDA’s marketing and communications strategy across a variety of reactive and strategically planned opportunities by allocating company resources to maximize collaboration, efficiency and creativity in building and maintaining consistent
branding or corporate identity to increase the reach and impact of GDA’s profile and visibility.

Policies, Processes and Procedures:
Participates in the development and implementation of GDA’s policies, processes, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled.
Day-To-Day Work Management:
Plays an integral part by leading in the design, creation, and delivery of multiple marketing and communications programs;establishes marketing and communications goals to ensure share of market and profitability to support the growth and expansion of GDA’s products, brand awareness and related services.
Develops and implements consumer campaigns including identification of prospective members / top revenue generators; and develop close working relationships to ensure that the association portfolio is best represented; and collaborate on various and related consumer campaign activities (internal and external). Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long terms; designs creative marketing and communications products that will maximize message, support program objectives, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of the association’s products and/or services thereby contributing to the oil and gas industry particularly in downstream sector.
Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities are capitalized and minimized the effects of competitive activity.
Plans and oversees the association’s advertising and promotion activities; develops innovative ideas to bring channels to life and establish the association as a thought leader at relevant overseas trade exhibitions, events and conferences.
In-charge in the development and refinement of marketing goals, internal/external communications, press releases, pricing strategies, promotional activities, branding and all other related campaigns, including web or social media presence in consultation with marketing staff and clients; including directing market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities.
Proactively propose collaboration with top affiliates in each key region (defined in accordance with revenue objectives, relationship management needs and channel priorities) to drive subscriber uptake/ upgrade where relevant and help to limit
distribution mix.
Set up and manages 360 degree meetings with external creative and media agencies regarding consumer and trade.
Campaigns, and monitor activity ensuring media plans are cost efficient and relevant to the brand message, to ensure all messaging across internal departments is consistent, and all key partners are up to date with any activities planned and executed.
Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Ensures the systematic collection,  review and analysis of market information to identify competitor tactics,  market trends,
new opportunities and challenges.
Recommends changes inbasic structure and organization of marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned to it and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to marketing problems and opportunities.
