Web Developer

Our client multi national financial services company is seeking to recruit a Web Developer. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Business Engagement. This position will be based in Bahrain
Position Summary
• Responsible for Web development, documentation, testing and support as per industry standards.
Principal Accountabilities
• Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, general Web functions and standards.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Web content creation and management working with different content management systems
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and document wireframes
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Perform System Testing and assist business users with UAT.
• Effectively communicate with business users, both formally and informally.
• Ensure application of Web application security principles.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technology trends.
• Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
