- The job holder is responsible for overall direction of all information security requirements of the Bank and serves as an expert security advisor to the executive management.- Responsible for recommending and seeking approval on comprehensive information security program in the Bank consistent with corporate strategic plan and vision.- Recommendation, implementation, and maintenance of approved policies regarding Information Security in the Bank- Responsible to recommend and implement information security risk management process.- Evaluate and work towards process improvements in order to ensure rapid security incident response.- Prioritize and justify security initiatives and infrastructure investments based on the security risk profile.- Liaise with IT directly to proactively review material IT security risks including intrusion detection and recommend prevention mechanisms.

- Recommend and Develop for management's approval Information Security Policy and Procedures (including operational and technical procedures) for the bank and provide consistent interpretation to facilitate implementation of security controls.- Maintain approved Information Security policies- Recommend for approval and monitor compliance mechanisms for minimum baseline security standards for IT assets.- Review and evaluate security of systems and application, and consult project team on various- Recommend Information Security Risk Management framework to identify and mitigate security risk associated with bank's information assets.- Proactively identify and analyze threats and weaknesses associated with people processes, technology, and IT systems (which include software, data, hardware, network & communication and computer premises) and suggest counter measures to mitigate those risks. In case of IT related issues, liaise and resolve directly with IT.- Perform qualitative risk assessment for information assets, setup risk profile with priorities. Evaluate and recommend risk response options. - Plan and review the setting of security parameters for various operating systems, applications, (both third party and in house developed) and firewall and intrusion detection systems to ensure IT systems are highly secured.


Profile

- Graduation in Computer Science.- Qualification such as CISA or CISM or CISSP is preferable.- Knowledge in software engineering- Knowledge in Information Security standards such as ISO 27000, PCI/DSS, etc., - Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructur- Hands on experience to IT systems, hardware and IT communications of minimum 10 years.- Hands on experience to IT security aspects of around 8 years.
