VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Web Sphere Experience Factory Developer for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill set required:

• 7+ years professional IT experience
• 6+ years Java and Web development experience; including J2EE, EJB, JSF, HTML, JavaScript, XML, JMS, JDBC
• 5+ years project experience with the following technologies:
o   Web Experience Factory (WebSphere Portlet Factory)
o   WebSphere Portal Server
o   WebSphere Content Management
• At least two of the following certifications
o   IBM Certified Solution Developer - Web Experience Factory
o   IBM Certified Solution Developer - WebSphere Portal
o   SUN Java Developer
• IBM BPM, SOA and Oracle knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate must participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support. The candidate must provide technical guidance to the team, be able to manage small projects and have strong communication skills
• Design and develop quality Web applications to agreed schedules. Deliver all associated technical documentation.
• Manage the technical delivery of small projects
• Implement n-tier solutions spanning multiple, strategic, enterprise technologies.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure user requirements are captured accurately and completely, including closing identified gaps in user requirements. Assess the technical feasibility and produce a specification
• Define Work Breakdown Structure, provide accurate estimates and define a plan for the execution of assigned tasks.
• Provide accurate impact assessment of proposed changes and initiatives.
• Identify potential project risk events and provide risk mitigation plans.
• Effectively communicate with business users, both formally and informally.
• Perform peer technical reviews.
