Job Purpose:
To identify, develop and grow the sales revenue and marketing of Agility products / services, specifically for Freight Forwarding and in accordance with the strategy, budgets and business targets of Freight Forwarding
Accountabilities:
Existing Business
Acts as client relationship interface between assigned accounts and the company; manage positive relationships with key personnel within assigned accounts, as well within company stakeholders in Dubai, region and global in line with growth of these accounts.
Maintains and grows gross and net revenue of assigned accounts in line with annual budget.
Monitors account performance through regular review meetings with operations and support functions (example - finance, billing, quality) to ensure all aspects of the business is in track.
Reviews small/inactive businesses to cancel or grow the business.
Ensures timely invoicing and collection in line with client’s service needs and payment terms respectively.
New Business
Identifies independently or in support from Strategic Management team/regional/global / product teams, new business opportunities and convert opportunities into revenue in line with annual budget.
Responsible to actively manage new proposals through presentation, proposal submission, negotiation and business closure stage
Ensures all requirements of client business is understood and clearly addressed such as to have a clear scope of work defined for the contract
Engages closely with product heads (and/or, delegates) and support functions (legal, IT, Government and others) to ensure new business is in line with Agility guidelines where applicable, ensures SOP / contract / MoU is signed on time in line with partnership go-live date
Ensures implementation of new business into operational phase by setting clear goals for the
implementation with the PMO office, and monitor implementation as per agreed frequency to ensure
implementation is on track. Act as escalation point for corrective action, for any identified setbacks
Ensures clear SOPs/KPIs are developed, agreed and communicated before start- up of operations
Ensures correct credit applications are submitted where required as per the credit application process
Miscellaneous
Updates Oneview with all existing and new business opportunities
Ensures visit targets for existing and new business opportunities is achieved
Reports submission on time as per set team target
Supports Strategic Management team in securing information/ meeting for assigned industry leads
Any other related duties/projects assigned by direct line manager / department manager from time to time that align with team business objectives.
