The College of the North Atlantic - Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Student Life and Services Section Head in the Student Life and Services Department. Reporting to the Associate Vice President Student Affairs, must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Student Life and Services Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will oversee all aspects of student life and services on campus and serve as the focal point for the needs and concerns of students. To lead the efforts to sustain a campus environment that encourages student engagement, leadership, personal development and academic success.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience in Student Affairs or related field, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Student Life and Services Section Head. The successful candidate is responsible to support the development of a Student Life and Services business plan and to contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes. Responsibilities also include to lead the development and enforcement of the Students’ Code of Conduct across the college and ensure student discipline is maintained and behavioral violations are minimized.
The Student Life and Services Section Head will develop and monitor the implementation of Student Life and Services procedures and guidelines and will monitor the performance of the Student Life and Services Section, vis-à-vis established KPI. Candidates will also be responsible to develop and monitor the annual budget of Student Life and Services Section in conjunction with the Executives.
Candidates will provide professional development support and perform periodic performance reviews for direct subordinates to contribute to the development of employees and must have excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, delegation and communications skills as well as the ability to act as a mentor to team members.
