Director & Editor (Avid Program)

Set up Avid projects and assemble source materials for edit sessions per supplied offline edl’s and or Avid bins, including digitizing from tapes, relinking to and transcoding file based sources, and prepping the project for online sessions.
Scope knowledge and understanding
Video signal broadcast legalities
Waveform signal comprehension
Possess outstanding HD, UHD, 4K and HDR workflow understanding
Must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be organized, efficient, and accurate under pressure.
Publish or export files needed for final Color Correction.
Daily communication with Online Editors and In-House Producers about the status of each project and any problems or anomalies.
Troubleshoot workflow and technical problems.
Diligence in ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
