Etihad Airways - Abu Dhabi - The role will be to manage part of a newly formed in-house Accounts Payable (AP) team with 20+ indirect reports. The role is responsible for the day to day AP operations to ensure smooth operations within the sub team and support AP Senior manager in implementing large scale control and efficiency improvement through re-design and use of automation. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a medium sized AP team to ensure operational excellence in delivery of day to day AP activities. Accountability over AP KPI’s within area e.g. one time payments %, ageing profiles and staff productivity Accountable for of all AP accounting processes in sub-team, ensuring books are up-to date and show accurate position. Month closing, including submission of all key schedules and vendor reconciliations must be done as per agreed time lines Escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
