Specialist - Work Order Management

• Demonstrate the rich domain knowledge and experience across the shipyard (dry docking, ship repair, afloat repair, ...) processes

  Have strong understanding of the Shipyard project cycle; from the point of receiving RFP for vessels
  repairs, high level understanding of the estimation department processes as well as the vessels repair
  implementation project (i.e. dry docking, afloat repair and major refits projects)
• 
  
• 
  Own the End to End Business processes of Shipyard processes and sub-contracting services whenever additional manpower is required
• 
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of the Shipyard & Procurement & inventory management to ensure the end-to-end purchase requisition conversion into delivered materials and services is adequately and smoothly managed
• 
  
• 
  Knowledge of 3 way matching and GRN processing “Goods Received Notes”
• 
  
• 
  Own the planning, coordination and seamless implementation of ERP systems across the Shipyard under guidance and sponsorship of VP Shipyard
• 
  
• 
  Liaise and coordinate with the relevant teams (System Integrators, IT, Vendors etc.) for implementing the Best Practices in the ERP systems.
• 
  
• 
  Represent the Shipyard (under guidance from VP Shipyard) in relevant stake holder meetings throughout the Project life cycle management.
• 
  
• 
  Has strong experience in project governance and ERP implementation and its related business processes.
• 
  
• 
  Develop and implement the framework for monitoring Shipyard KPIs and relevant business performance indicators.
• 
  
• 
  Establish, implement continuous process improvements for all parts of Shipyard business and performance management
• 
  
• 
  Ensure Shipyard – ERP Implementation processes occur in accordance with all relevant legal,
  regulatory and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required.
• 
  
• 
  Assume ownership and responsibility for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity,
  timeliness, conformity, and validity within the established data governance policies.
• 
  
• 
  Leverage strong problem solving and data analysis and manipulation skills to analyse, cleanse, and
  monitor large amounts of data.
  Solicit missing/correct information from other departments.
• 
  
• 
  Assist in development of communication and training plans needed to implement governance policies
• 
  
• 
  Work as change agent to get business buy in on the process that need to be changed
