Charterhouse - Dubai - With a reporting line to the Head of Accounting, this role shall take ownership of all oversight and planning linking to the FA&I operating functions and registers, whilst ensuring the development and roll out of accurate and IFRS compliant financial statements, covering the general ledgers and accounting journals for these functional areas. This technical accounting aspect shall be complemented by the review monitoring and mitigation of risks to ensure adequate registers and accounting tools are in place to provide an accurate and analytical-based reporting coverage across all FA&I. This shall also link to cost reporting, asset categorisation and depreciation, to ensure all areas are covered within the accounting ledgers and balance sheet reconciliation. The successful candidate should be a professional qualified Chartered Accountant, with a track record with FA&I based roles, whilst also having a capability across an SAP-based ERP platform.
