Technical Manager - Alghanim International

To act as a liaison between EPC Contractor/Client/Technical Engineering Services and the project for all technical issues and to coordinate activities of Technical Departments, find solutions to technical problems & to ensure proper execution of all technical works.

1. To analyse information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems for the project & client.
2. To oversee the preparation of “Test – Packs” to ensure completion of work and proper working of the installed system/equipment.
3. To quantify the materials required from the drawings and recommend the specifications to procure the materials and to liaise with the client for free issue material.
4. To oversee the preparation of weld maps for pre fabrication, including material coordination and to prepare detailed fabrication/erection drawings to aid execution.
5. To supervise a team of engineers and draftsmen/CADD operators and coordinate the work of all disciplines to accomplish tasks and to ensure that all details are included in drawings.
6. To study and interpret the construction specification and drawings; identify any design problems, conflicts and to resolve the same.
7. To prepare work packages for execution in line with construction schedule in liaison with Project Controls.
8. To maintain all documents in an organized manner for easy reference and to prepare the hand over documents at the time of project close out.
9. To conduct lifting studies to enable proper utilisation of heavy equipment.
