The Key Account Manager will be responsible for selling the full range of John Crane products and services directly to existing clients and self-generated prospects, to meet or exceed annual targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop a set of key accounts in line with the Business Plan.
• Provide technical support and advice to end users.
• Market and sell existing and new product lines.
• Build relationship with key end users.
• Target retrofits and upgrades.
• Introduce regional specialists to the end users such as the Turbo machinery team as a vehicle to up sell.
• Meet or exceed the annual budget.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
• Liaise with support functions to generate technical and commercial proposals
• Coordinate with customers and the local Service Centre.
• Perform contract reviews.
• Utilise Performance Metrics to drive focused action plans in line with the Business Plan
