     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     Experience in handling large systems, its interconnections, typical IT challenges in the enterprise and the capability to influence, defend and develop modernized web

architecture solutions and technologies.

     Knowledge of programming languages (Java,.Net, PHP, Perl, SQL)

     Expert-level knowledge of object-oriented design concepts, various frameworks, data storage implementations and enterprise design patterns

     Be familiar with each of the various UML forms and have expertise in the development of use cases and class diagrams, and occasionally state diagrams as well

     Up-to-date understanding of market trends and keen interest in following emerging technologies

     Advanced ability to analyze business requirements quickly to determine and assess feasibility of the software solution

     Able to mentor and guide more junior technical resources

     Overall 12+ years of overall systems, network and application  experience and concentrating on solution architecture, systems analysis, design and implementation.

     Proven ability to be successful in cross-functional teams

     5-7 years of experience or equivalent skill level being involved with a full Systems

Deployment Life Cycle (SDLC)

     5+ years of experience or equivalent skill level working directly with the end user community to synthesize, capture, and clearly communicate requirements.

     5+ years of experience or equivalent skill level leading the architecture, design of systems integration work

     3-5 years of Solutions Architect and/or related Technical Leadership experience or equivalent skill level.

     Good understanding of networks and data transmission methods, platform and

architecture, XML, web services, security, and databases
