As a Rewards & Benefits Specialist you will…

Provide day-to-day compensation support to Vodafone Qatar. Role responsibilities includes activities like handling rewards operations, maintain standard employee relations, employment actions (job changes, terminations, etc), salary reviews, and compensation data analysis, covering the end to end employee life cycle. In addition, the position will be responsible for specific projects with clear deliverables as assigned.

The role is a member of the overall Rewards & Benefits team and work closely with the other COE’s within HR team, department heads and line managers

What kind of tasks will you have?
• Participates in external salary surveys, including salary survey submission and analysis of data and develop compensation ranges as per the market standards and provide advisory from a Total Rewards perspective
• Supports the execution of the annual salary reviews (merit) & annual bonus (GSTIP & LTI) processes including systems set up, HR & manage communications & training during the cycle and execution of any final pay-outs and ensure timely processing of End of service and repatriation.
• Ensures benefit programs are competitive and legally compliant.  Evaluates and compares existing company benefits with those of other organisations by analysing other plans, survey, and other sources of information.  Plans, develops, and/or participates in area and industry surveys.  Analyses results of surveys and develops specific recommendations for review by management.
• May lead or participate on special compensation projects as assigned by manager to complete annual market survey reviews and data analyses
• Manage Reward & Benefits processes and proactively manage improvements to the process.

Apply if you have the following:
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA degree will be preferred. Areas of study may include HR, business, or finance
• Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in HR function for medium size multi-national organisation. Experience with telecom industry would be an advantage.
• Global Remuneration Certification (GRP), SARA affiliation / professional designation, Insurance Institute of SA (IISA) certificate or certification in a recognized job grading tool would be an added advantage
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including interfacing with executive’s. Arabic language will be an advantage
• Detail oriented, excellent analytical, project management skills 
• High level of affinity to and experience with Business computing solutions, Knowledge of HR ERP modules like SAP / Oracle / People soft
• Experience in job evaluation and salary survey
