• Managing a team of surveyors through efficient deployment, to support the progress of works.

• 
  
• Measure and record precise distances and angles on, above or below the land surface, marine areas including boundary points, topographical features and other designated markers.
• 
  
• Ensures that all necessary permits are available prior to commencement of marine construction works.
• 
  
• Verify site survey findings against information given by consultant, client, and other authorities concerned with the project.
• 
  
• Ensures that all the survey personnel working at site are verifying all the necessary instruments,softwareandspareparts requiredto perform thesurveyareavailableandproperlyworking prior to commencement of work.
• 
  
• Performs all duties associated with surveying, which may include direction and preparation of boundary surveys, and descriptions.
• 
  
• Performing record research, construction stakeout and boundary, topographic, transportation and utility surveys utilizing total stations and data collectors.
• 
  
• Review information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances, directions, angles between points and elevation of points, lines and contours on, above, and below the earth's surface.
• 
  
• Plan field work & select known survey reference points.
• 
  
• Determine the precise location of important features in the survey area.
• 
  
• Research legal records, look for evidence of previous boundaries, and analyze the data to determine the location of boundary lines.
• 
  
• Record the results of surveys and verify accuracy of data.
• 
  
• Responsible for verifying the subcontractor’s marine and land surveys, pre-dredging and post-dredging bathymetric surveys, checking the establishment of the control point and bench marks and review final as built survey drawings for marine works.
• 
  
• Keeps accurate/readable/retrievable notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed, and to make sure the same is protected and backed up.
• 
  
• To maintain the surveying instrument in order (e.g., instrument calibration is updated) to assure their accuracy & report any defects.
• 
  
• Executes the survey team for independent daily end-to-end survey activities (land and hydrographic) onsite.
• 
  
• Ensures accuracy and objectivity and coordinate with the Consultant Surveyor to the project survey results.
• 
  
• Works according to defined policies and procedures for effective, efficient and professional functioning of the survey division.
• 
  
• Provides accurate information to Project Manager/Construction Manager on actual survey work done/performance, accidents/delays, status of assets and work forecasts aligned with the project requirements.
• 
  
• Works according to the QA/HSE requirements and procedures onsite. Respond to QA/QC and HSE reports and implement the solutions provided by Project Manager.
