• Develop a business plan and a sales strategy for the market; depending on local market insights and competitive factors, to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Understand the industry, market dynamics, customers, external and internal competitive aspects to guide opportunities for markets expansion and new trade channels development as per the required standards, and execute accordingly.
• Increase the business volume in a recognized significant manner.
• Setting Sales targets supervises the sales team based on the annual forecast. Monitor achievement of the sales versus targets, and assumes full responsibility for achieving total targets by brand, on monthly/quarterly/ yearly basis. Prepare action plan by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Lead individuals in their achievement of business objectives with integrity, fairness and transparency in management, develop individuals & create a healthy positive work environment which attracts and retains appropriate talents/individuals.
• Organize weekly meetings with the sales team in order to review their sales achievements.
• Hold the responsibility to deliver improved sales techniques training and all related product knowledge, in order to prepare the sales team to meet the monthly set targets. Monitor daily sales order movement through the management of monthly/daily sales orders from clients.
• Responsible for the management of the sales team into different brands for Beauty & Salon Professional (Hair Care, Skin Care, Nail Care, Make-Up, Beauty Products) & other new related expansion to the operation.
• Provide general oversight of all sales activities, monitor sales team, distributors and retailer wholesale sales, inventory levels and retailer activity and assure smooth efficient functioning organization. Monitor and direct the sales team towards maximum achievement of profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
• Assure brand presentation standards quality and organizational stability through the implementation of standards and controls, systems, policies and procedures, and regular evaluation. Review terms, space, location and all visual elements. Follow up on related matters to the trade and marketing side of the brands with the corporate office.
• Increase yearly turnover as per the set budget plan. Assess the monthly P&L of the sales department to ensure financial goals are being met.
• Maintain stock level by division/department. Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and department related reports.
• Ensure a stable cash flow. Responsible for the monthly collection and ensure targets are met. Participate directly in assisting the Credit department in any conflict with clients and shares with them solving all pending collections.
• Monitor new staff during their probation period and advise the Human Resources regarding their performance by providing timely feedback. Build more effective communication, to understand training and development needs, and provide insight for the improvement of daily sales and other functions of activity performance.
• Motivate, guide and direct to fully realizing the organization mission, vision, goals and objectives by maintaining organization culture & core values. Ensure maintaining organization image and conduct best business practices.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Responsible for implementing any other requirements or duties the company may request.
