- Duty scheduling for security guards assigning them to posts and arranging for their break time and off days.
- Check security officers' performances and general grooming.
- Monitor and respond immediately to alarm system activation to check designated areas of concern.
- Effectively use the public address system to notify staff and visitors of situations or actions required of them.
- Giving support to the emergency services in an emergency situation.
- Dealing with dissatisfied and difficult customers.
- Assisting the safety and security department in conducting training on guards and general staff on the way to act in case of an emergency.
- Ensure effective control of keys and other security equipment eg. Walkie talkies and telephones.
- Filling reports and checklists.
- Do a periodic patrolling on all shopping retail level to ensure safe and secure shopping atmosphere for customers.
- Meeting daily with security manager to review general security issues.
