AC Fitter - Hamad Medical Corporation

1. Demonstrates knowledge and application of the HMC mission, vision and values.
2. Perform routine maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration plants and equipments.
3. Carry out minor installation works of refrigerating and air conditioning equipments.
4. Maybe assigned to shift duties where he will execute and be responsible for the following during his shift: - Emergency repairs and preventive maintenance of air-conditioning and refrigeration plants and equipments. - Inspection and monitoring the operation of air-conditioning and refrigeration plants. - Correcting air-conditioning and related complaints received by Control Room from hospital staff and instigate corrective action, in liaison with the Shift Foreman.
5. Responsible for implementation of safety procedures relating to his own work and that of helpers that maybe assigned to him.
6. When directed by a Foreman or Supervisor will supervise junior tradesmen or labourers on jobs requiring more than one man.
7. Must be able to work thru diagrams and working drawings.
8. Must be able to work independently with minimum of supervision.
9. Complies withHMC policies and procedures; and in particular infection control, safety and quality management.
10. Performs other duties as requested.
