Summary/Objective:
Merchant Acquisition team members will be tasked with the initial stages of business development where they will be contacting some of the world's largest financial institutions, local merchants, and key clients with the aim of setting up meetings and establishing new lines of communication. Once new business opportunities have been sourced they will then have the opportunity to take on more senior positions.


 


Essential Functions


1.Aggressive and energetic in sales on behalf of the company’s portfolio of business deliverables.
2.Well organized with a professional appearance.
3.Demonstrate the ability to interact with various levels of management including governmental, business and financial stakeholders.
4. Very strong English communication and articulation in order to articulate the company’s value propositions to various clients.
5.Innovative forward thinker and a dynamic business hunter with the ability to not only meet but exceed stated sales goals.
6.Understands and accepts that lead generation in the responsibility of the sales force.  Utilizes time in this regard to always set new goals and achieve inspirational goals and targets.
7.At both an operational and strategic level manage channel partner relationships to the benefit of the company
8.Performs any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
