Amec Foster Wheeler - Al Ahmadi, Kuwait - Overview / Responsibilities We are currently bidding for a new Program Management Consultant (PMC) responsible for the environmental remediation of over 40,000-acres of desert land contaminated from the detonation of nearly 800 oil wells during the 1990-1991 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. The contract program will be high-visibility at an international level due to the tremendous environmental and management challenges involved in execution of the full $3 Billion remediation program. The remediation work is funded under the United Nations Compensation Committee (UNCC) war reparation initiative, with Client acting as their managing agent and contracting entity. If we are awarded this work we will have a requirement for a Documentary and Multimedia Technician to start by Q4-2017, so it is essential we find people who can be available within this time frame.
