Qatar - The Role: *PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VACANCY WILL INVOLVE A TWO MONTH, UNPAID, HIATUS IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER. The incumbent will take field stewardship of all construction activities and supervise the EPC contractor during execution of topside work, focusing on quality, safety, construction and completion as per approved schedule. Duties will include: Promote safety awareness and safe performance among project team members, including consultants and contractor personnel. Monitor and appraise contractor construction activities and performance. Coordinate interfaces and interactions with contractors and subcontractors, and with existing operations. Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to the construction superintendent. Provide input to and review development of contractors detailed plans to complete the work.
