Kuwait City - -Is responsible on a daily basis for all administrative and technical services associated with the routine planning and operation of Radiology Services. -The radiology technician should use X-ray equipment and accessories, employing techniques and procedures, in accordance with accepted safety standards and codes of practice. -Evaluate the need for and use protective shielding taking the appropriate precautions to minimize the radiation exposure to the patients. -Prevent all unauthorized personnel from entering or remaining in an area during X-ray exposure. -Wear a personal monitoring device while on duty, reviewing and evaluating individual occupational exposure reports. -Perform the quality control tests for the equipment following manufacturer's advice. -Reports any malfunctions of the equipment to the attending radiologist and the chief of technicians. -Inspects and cleans screens and cassettes, processing exposed films. -Ensure the storage of films - new or used - ...
