Al Ahmadi, Kuwait - Job Summary Our client, a major oil & gas corporation in the state of Kuwait, is looking for a Senior Drilling Engineer to join their team in Kuwait. Responsibilities Ensures well plans are developed with sound engineering practices and are executed in compliance with company and regulatory requirements Leads Risk Assessments for assigned projects and participates in Risk Assessments of other projects Prepares detailed and accurate drilling cost and time estimates; issues drilling AFEs Uses Management of Change (MOC) process as required during planning and execution phase Works closely with all Contract Owners to develop the optimum drilling plan for assigned projects Works closely with Completion Engineers to develop the optimum completion strategy for assigned projects Works closely with Facilities Group and Geomatic Operations Group to determine required platform modifications and ensure incident free rig moves Works closely with Well Services Group to develop abandonmen...
