Qatar - The MEP Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements on electrical and mechanical work carried out by the contractor. Responsibilities To review and approve contractor submittals, resolve technical issues arising and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Carry out inspection of works in progress Ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings Assist Site Resident Engineer with review of shop drawing and material submittals. Monitor and report contractor progress and all activities Requirements Technical Competencies Essential Technical degree either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 7 years experience in electrical or mechanical engineering Highway/Roads project experience would be advantageous Previous site inspection experience Understanding of British, American and International design standards.
