IV Offshore - United Arab Emirates - A Marine Engineer / DP is currently needed on a project based in the UAE. This is a long-term project operating on 8:4 week rotations. Applicants must have a Class I (C/E) Certificate of Competency and an Unlimited DP License. KEY DUTIES To monitor, operate and ensure that all equipment and machinery in the engine room is running satisfactorily. Responsible for identifying causes of malfunctions and correcting faults with machinery and equipment in the engine room. To carry out daily/tests and planned periodic inspections on the vessel’s machinery, systems and equipment. To assess dry-docking requirements for the vessel in conjunction with the Master and provide input to the Operations Department of the company to facilitate dry-dock planning. To ensure a high level of safety, pollution control and international standards compliance in all activities relating to operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
