Kuwait - Job Summary The Lead Buyer is responsible for procurement of materials, components, supplies and/or services for the company in accordance with standard operating procedures, contract requirements and acquisition regulations. Works with local suppliers to formulate purchase agreements and arrange shipment and receipt of materials for Kuwait Ministry of Defense, Third Line Maintenance Program. Principal Accountabilities Ability to develop, write, enact and enforce policies and procedures that will result in ISO certification. Establishes source of supply, negotiates price, delivery date, and other necessary commitments based upon authorized requisition that maintains consistency with the Program/Requisitioning Unit requirement and compliance with company policies and Host Country/US regulations.
