Reporting to the Academic Manager of Program Development and Academic Quality, the successful applicant must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Program Development and Academic Quality Department in implementing the College’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:     

The Curriculum Assessment Specialist, under the direction of the Academic Manager, Program Development and Academic Quality, provides technical and pedagogical expertise in the leadership of curriculum development and assessment initiatives. The Curriculum Assessment Specialist leads the development and review of curriculum and assessments, including technical writing, editing and documentation production, ensuring they meet established quality guidelines and standards.

The Curriculum Assessment Specialist works with students, alumni, industry, teams, committees, and content experts to facilitate curriculum review and assessment, providing expertise on curriculum and assessment frameworks. The Curriculum Assessment Specialist selects level-appropriate curriculum and assessment materials, designs and reviews syllabi and guidelines, establishes and organizes activities of the Curriculum Review Committee, organizes and facilitates orientation and professional development to support instructors, and coordinates the review of feedback forms, in order to meet program and course educational objectives and ensure alignment with, School, and accreditation standards. The Curriculum Assessment Specialist provides support in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines governing the PDAQ Department and maintains familiarity with CNA-Q curriculum and assessment requirements.
