Job Summary:
The key job responsibility of the Head of Business Affairs is to access and coordinate the daily flow of information, prepare and administer contracts, perform data entry to meet AKH standards and achievements, and support and assist achieve the Director of Business Affairs in achieving the goals and business objectives of the department.


1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1.1 Provides efficient administrative support to the Director of Business Affairs in smooth functioning of the Department particularly, the financial and contractual aspects of leasing operations.
1.2 Assists in the financial and contractual review of franchising and licensing operations
1.3 Maintains the Organization’s Intellectual property (IP) database.
1.4 Assists in the financial review of self-operated outlets.
1.5 Assists in feasibility studies of new concepts both locally and abroad
1.6 Coordinates in the establishment and set up of new concepts once approved.
1.7 Assists in establishing and improving the organization’s policies and procedures related
to corporate support.
1.8 Generates a temporary working file for storing and retrieval of each new project/deal assigned to different departments or individuals.
1.9 Updates the Business Affairs files with relevant documents (signed agreements,comments, e-mails, etc.) from various projects.
1.10 Sends correspondence on behalf of the Director of Business Affairs and distribute copies
to the appropriate individuals in other departments
1.11 Personally sends correspondence returning fully executed agreements to the respective originators.
1.12 Reviews and prepares summary of business affairs deal memos and contracts for identification and tracking of pertinent information
1.8 Tracks key dates and milestones for all Business Projects or Deals, including delivery
dates, deadlines, application deadlines, payment milestones and option right deadlines.
1.9 Tracks and maintains systems for directing workflow and meeting deadlines for Business
Affairs
1.10 Ensures administrative tasks are identified and prioritized among the Business Affairs team, improving efficiency.
1.11 Compiles and finalizes any outstanding work or assignment
1.12 Revises redline agreements.
1.13 Handles and maintains all correspondence
1.14 Schedule meetings on behalf of the Director of Business Affairs.
