Engineering Expert

Main Purpose:
Manage and conduct the manufacturing strategy projects and meet the work schedule in accordance with the project plan with most cost effective manner. Supervise the work of
engineering researchers and specialists in charge of projects,reports and research papers in industry, engineering, and technology.

Duties and accountability:
• Lead meetings with the clients during the implementation of the projects on an individual basis or jointly with the project team.
• Establish clear criteria for project plan and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency in conducting the proposed projects in the department.
• Supportthe department director in marketing the department’s services and products.
• Assist in the preparation of special proposals and initiatives for the development of the industrial sector.
• Lead the research teams in charge of collecting data and information in the relevant research areas of industry.
• Ensure that the analyses have been conducted accurately and in orderly manner.Evaluate the analyses efficiency and effectiveness in harmony with the used data.
• Apply new analytical tools and framework of analysis and data collection.
• Assist in the preparation of regular reports on the current status of projects or for the industrial sectors which will help in good project planning.
• Develop the initial ideas for the scope of work. Identify the needed researchers and information for the studies and discuss it with the director or head of the project team.
• Examine, review and develop questionnaires which are prepared by the project team members together data and information from third-party.
• Contact the officials, the industrial research institutions and industrial companies for which questionnaires are sent to explain the study objectives and facilitate the collection information.
• Schedule meeting appointments and coordinates discussions on the progress of work in the study.
• Regular reporting on the progress of working the projects designated to him/her and recommend the necessary actions to resolve any difficulties.
• Combine and coordinate all actions of the study and work to issue the final version of the study in coordination with project team members.
• Submit the project final documents to the director of department and/or the head of the project team, intimately manner and prepare the needed presentations for these studies in the meetings devoted to discuss its outcomes either inside or outside the organization.
• Provide answers to all inquiries regarding the studies assigned to him/her during the course of work or after the completion of study implementation.
• Conduct the needed research and industrial feasibility studies and research person independent bases.
• Transfer knowledge and expertise to researchers and specialists in the department.
