WorleyParsons is currently in the process of updating Qatar Transportation Master, the scope of work involves:
- Review of the existing master plan dated 2008 and other related documents;
- Review of international Best Practiced Master Plans;
- Review and analyse existing transport network including highway, public transport, fright, cyclist and pedestrians;
- Review of latest traffic data and surveys;
- Assessment of future transport demands for four horizon years, 2025, 2030,2035 and 2050;
- Develop transport assessment framework;
- Extensive stakeholder consultation;
- Develop and Assess various options and scenarios to address future demands using Visum model and other methods;
- Select and develop the preferred scenario for detailed assessment and incorporation in the master plan;
- Develop implantation plan for the master plan.
We are seeking to recruit a Technical Manger with relevant experience to assist the Project Manager on the following tasks:
- leading and coordinating all technical tasks to ensure timely execution of all tasks within budget;
- Provide technical advice and guidance to the team to ensure all deliverables are prepared with good quality to meet the client approval;
- Prepare and review technical reports;
- Assist the Project Manager on managing the technical budget;
- Review sub consultant's deliverables and performance;
- liaise and coordinates with the Client team regarding all technical deliverables to obtain client approvals;
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding options being considered and obtain their buy in.
