Mobile Equipment Supervisor - Qatari Investors Group

Supervise the daily Maintenance activities through proper planning and scheduling of maintenance operations, looking for the optimum use of resources, equipment availability and maintenance cost, taking into consideration Safety regulations and house-keeping rules to achieve required reliability and efficiency of the work within the approved budget and to respect of production demands ensuring application of maintenance procedures method and best practices to company mobile equipment.

Job responsibilities: 

• Ensure good working condition and safety for maintenance operations.
• With the assistance of mechanical / electrical execution departments, schedule and prepare weekly mechanical and electrical maintenance program.
• With the assistance of the Mechanical Section Head schedule and prepare major Overhaul/rehabilitation of Mobile equipment shutdowns ensuring co-ordination with other departments.
• Look for the best optimization of maintenance operations according to the availability of equipment and workforce.
• Maintain and update the preventive maintenance program and its master plan (especially inspection and lubrication programs), ensuring quality and relevance as well as implementation.
• Ensure the utilization of feedback from inspection/Operator as the main input for maintenance operations.
• Collect and handle all the work request and check for accuracy of technical information. Manage maintenance backlog.
• Ensure quality of technical specifications for spares and sub-contracted work.
• Manage his team, define the missions and objectives, carry out their performance reviews, promote the quality of the work, motivate his personnel, and facilitate communication and relationships (regular department meetings, reports to the hierarchy).
• Ensure the permanent update of the personal skills, develop and implement a training plan for his team.
• Provide the Mechanical Section Head with the preparation of the budget (on-going and major operations) ensuring technical justification for maintenance major operations.
• Perform monthly gap analysis of maintenance budget and performance indicators.

Authorities & Accountabilities:

• Reports directly to Mechanical Section Head.
• Responsible for all Mobile Equipment team.
• Prepare budget and cost analysis.
• Make Purchase requisition on system and issue parts from Warehouse.
• Coordinate with other department’s representative related to work needs.
• Coordinate with Contractors and suppliers for technical related issues.
