• Supervise the monthly payroll system and ensure data integrity and confidentiality
• Lead the preparations of monthly payroll for salary payment, including direct credit to bank accounts and individual pay-outs
• Prepare various reports on manpower costs including overheads, business trips, benefits analysis in coordination with relevant units in HR i.e. HR Administration, Workforce Planning, etc.
• Prepare benefits payments, benefit deduction calculations, pay increases in coordination with HR Administration
• Ensure all new Joint Venture employee details are entered in the payroll system
• Ensure all reimbursable expenses, deductions, time and labour records, leaves, and other information are properly collected and maintained in coordination with HR Administration
• Prepare End of Service Benefits for employees leaving the committee in coordination with HR Administration
• Review the consolidated pay data and the payroll run to ensure completeness and accuracy including cross check with ERP system, if needed run a separate manual payroll system to reconcile
• Manage and provide professional support to subordinates in performing duties and assign tasks when required
• Assist in identifying subordinates training needs, and attend and evaluate trainings when required
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor directly related or relevant to the job
• Ensure the assigned responsibilities are delivered:
• to a high standard of quality and timeliness
• in full compliance with the Joint Venture Safety and Security rules and requirements
• in line with any standards and objectives designated in the Employee Performance Management system
