As a Videographer your role is pivotal and you are a core member in the team and our business. Your input, whether in the management/preparation of a shoot, the art direction and the best methods on delivering a polished product include and are not limited to the following:
General
1.Act professionally as a representative of Dallah Holding Media.
2.Always communicate with your manager and keep him up-to-date on
the progress and status of a job/project.
3.Always consider safety first, and make an assessment on the right behavior and action keeping yourself and the people working with you safe.
4.Make sure that all the legal documents are signed by the subjects where needs be (Model release, property release).
Operation
1.Understand the client’s need then take the brief and advise on
the best methods to deliver the job accordingly.
2.Have the full capacity and capability to handle video cameras, whether a DSLR or Broadcast Camera and cover a range of jobs from events to documentaries and advertising
3.Research and prepare comparable work prior to a shoot then pitch it to the client
4.Handle the subjects and people involved in a shoot respectfully and professionally while getting the best results out of them
5.Advise and help in sourcing the tools, the support and other stuff that might be needed to do the shoot
6.Work in different locations and circumstances to get the shot needed for the scene.
7.Liaise with other professionals whether suppliers or from the client side for work permits or other stuff to facilitate the shoot
8.Stay up to date with the video production industry’s trends and technical knowledge whether with gear or software
9.Develop the needed knowledge to master the right software needed as a video editor
10.Store and backup all the files (video, Audio and documents) in a structural, methodic and consistent way. Make sure that no files are lost or deleted and if it happens accidentally, we ALWAYS have a backup
11.Handle and maintain well the Studio’s gear and equipment and store them properly after each shoot
12.Produce a good portfolio for the studio, and achieving a reputation for quality and reliability
