A leading bank in Qatar is seeking a Head of Private Banking. This role's overall responsibility of maintaining and creating relationships with UHNWI as a strategic client segment for the bank.
Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor, and support the RMs/ROs within the department in effectively executing their responsibilities with respect to client acquisition/management, and will be responsible for achieving the financial targets of the department.
Work closely with the Chief Retail Banking Officer on the development/ implementation of the overall client segmentation strategy, annual business plans, policies and procedures and specifically in regards to the UHNWI client segment.
Develop and maintain robust working relationships with internal/external stakeholders of the bank to facilitate functional operational needs.
Ensure that the Bank is moving forward with stretched objectives in regards to the UHNWI retail client segment, and align functional activities and initiatives in line with the organizational vision and business strategy.
Candidate profile:
At least 13 years of experience in a similar role within the banking industry covering the Middle East region.
Strong hands on experience in Private Banking with High Net Worth clients.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in finance or banking related.
