A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words... now that’s an understatement!
Qgrabs.com is looking for an in-house Designer to create eye candy that accompanies every deal we promote on our website. The Designer is responsible for the images and videos that represent each deal and go hand-in-hand with the write-ups on deal pages.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Research high quality images from business websites and stock photography
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to perfect each image through color correction, sharpening, sizing, and other post production tools
- Create and upload YouTube videos
- Create Social Media artwork
- Create Banners and other ad design requirements
- Create Gifs
- Take pictures by camera and retouch to perfect for online use
- Determine whether merchants’ images are adequate in size, quality and relevancy to deal presented
- Ensure image will work with write-up and other surrounding content to engage readers and accurately portray customer experience
- Ensure image aesthetically conforms to Qgrabs.com’s page design
- Assist in other editorial image or design related projects as needed
- Handle all scheduled and ad hoc designs required by our sister companies and as & when directed by the Manager
- Add Voice Over & subtitles on videos
- Logo design and collateral creation
- Newsletter design
- Other duties assigned
