1. Demonstrate knowledge and application of HMC mission, vision, and values
2. Ensure that food is served on time following established daily meal schedules and monitor tray line service
3. Maintain records and statistics and prepare and submit reports as required
4. Inspect supplies, equipment, and ward pantries in order to ensure efficient service
5. Attend to customer complaints and suggestions regarding food service and report these to the Chief Steward
6. Responsible for staff discipline, on-the-job training, and conformance with HMC standard for food hygiene,sanitation, and safety procedures for food service personnel
7. Coordinate with the Nursing and Dietetics on dietary requirements of in-patients, food service arrangements and other related details
8. Comply with HMC policies and procedures, and in particular infection control, safety and quality management.
9. Perform other duties as requested
