L-3 Communications - Kuwait - Site Supervisor (Aircraft Maintenance) Basic Function Summary: The Site Supervisor oversees maintenance servicing, repairing and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Ensures FAA maintenance requirements are met. Schedules maintenance and inspections. Releases aircraft for flight. Recommends procedure changes to improve maintainability of aircraft and timely inspections. Consults manufacturers’ manual for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement. Requires FAA airframe and power plant (A&P) mechanic license. The Site Supervisor is responsible, but not limited, to the following functions and duties: Inspect and certify aircraft at specific intervals as required by L3 Aircraft, Government and the FAA.
