Dubai - The School of Education at the American University in Dubai invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Education, to begin teaching in Fall 2017. The successful candidate will have: A Doctorate in Education or related field (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) Ability to integrate technology Teaching experience in elementary and/or secondary schools A background in language arts and social studies Ability to work collaboratively An active research agenda In addition, qualified applicants should possess a high degree of intercultural sensitivity and an understanding of teacher education in global classroom settings. Preferred candidates will also be proficient in the use of technology for instructional purposes, knowledgeable of curriculum standards and current practices in K-12 education, including the teaching of Arabic.
