Faststream - United Arab Emirates - My client are a leading LNG shipping company and require a Technical Superintendent for their office in The Middle East. You will oversee and monitor the technical management which is provided by the third party managers. Key responsibilities: - Attend scheduled repairs to ensure they are to the required standard - Provide technical advice on all aspects of the maintenance and repairs of the vessels - Monitor vessel performance and condition - Liaise with Port Construction Team and third party managers on all technical issues and fleet projects - Represent the company at industry forums where applicable - Conduct investigations as required and carry out risk assessments - Monitor the vessels budget and ensure Class and Flag matters are maintained by the operator To apply you must have the following experience: - Sailed as Chief Engineer on board LNG Motor vessels - Shore based experience as Technical Superintendent with LNG motor vessels - Knowledge of cargo containment s...
